Play Therapy Services
In accordance with the mission for the Multicultural Play Therapy Center, the following services are offered to our community:

Serve school counselors and mental health providers in this region through consulting and/or presenting on a wide variety of topics related to play therapy. Examples are: introduction to play therapy, advanced skills in play therapy (e.g., setting limits), working with parents, consulting with teachers, and increasing sensitivity to diversity when working with young children and their families Collaborate with schools and community agencies on research projects.

Provide relevant trainings to mental health providers

Provide consultation about trainings offered by the Multicultural Play Therapy Center staff

Hosts annual conferences at UNCC
